meet the team
Morgan Lasher, PARTNER
After graduating from Ohio University, Morgan Lasher accepted a position as a consultant with the Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte) in its Cambridge, MA offices. She collaborated on international teams to create corporate management and marketing communications strategies for top global companies, from pharmaceutical companies launching new drugs to a top home and beauty retailer identifying and quantitatively segmenting its target markets.
In 2010, she joined the ranks of Cleveland-based publication Mimi Magazine, with a mission to support local business diversity. As the Director of Strategy and Marketing, Morgan lead teams of marketing strategists and content marketers, and together they grew the business in revenue and reach year-over-year since Morgan joined the company. In December of 2016, she and Kat partnered to start Amp Strategy.
As raving fan of Akron, Morgan is a member of the Akron Public Schools Board of Education, and she sits on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Reserve and is the Vice President of the Akron Chapter of ATHENA International. With her husband Matt, three-year-old son Anderson, baby boy #2 on the way, and two rescue pups, Morgan lives in Highland Square.

Becky DeHart, Marketing Director
After graduating from Otterbein College with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Becky pursued a career behind the scenes, working as a Casting Director on the COSBY show in New York City. From there, she traveled through the digital start-up world on the west coast to event planning here in the heart of it all.
Prior to joining Amp Strategy, Becky worked in the world of non-profits as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Canton Museum of Art. Working with a (small-but-mighty) team of other outside-the-box thinkers, she helped grow the museum’s social media following by more than 70%.
Becky is happy to have boomeranged back to Northeast Ohio and is loving the collaborative, creative, forward-thinking vibe she is getting from working in Akron. Becky and her husband Aaron live in Canton, Ohio with their daughter Lizzie, Mr. Snow the cat, and new puppy Moxie. Anybody want a puppy?
LINDSEY Phillips, Content & Strategic Operations Director
Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Lindsey earned a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University and MBA from Baker University. After meeting her Cleveland-based-now-husband on Facebook in 2005, she moved 1,000 miles to Akron, Ohio in 2008.
Her passion for investigation led to a hunger for finding resolutions to complex problems, which quickly grew to managing operations, mergers and acquisitions, and process improvement for FirstMerit Bank. After 16 years in Corporate Banking, she felt a calling to impact Akron in a bigger way and “jumped” to run operations at World Relief Akron, a non-profit refugee resettlement agency.
You could say all the AOL instant messaging with a cute boy in college fueled a love for communication and social media. That, along with a passion for learning, has motivated various side hustles including: co-founding a local bakery, launching a social media platform for a non-profit, social media consulting for the KOMAE app; and most recently, she became a Certified Life Coach and founded Reverse Women, an organization that teaches women authenticity and vulnerability. A background of operations and communications led to the dream job at Amp!
Lindsey has contributed to the Akron community through Torchbearers, United Way iC.A.R.E., Women’s Network Community Leadership Institute, the Operations Committee at Citizens Akron, current Board service for the Rape Crisis Center, and previous Board service for Rahab Ministries and Women’s Network of NE Ohio.
Lindsey lives in West Akron with her husband Antoine, daughter Soleil (so-lay; you’re welcome), son Archer, cat Princess Fiona, and dog Coco.
