CHRIS SMITH, Director of Video & Event Production

Chris’ involvement with film and video began when he studied at the feet of The Imagination Industry’s Richard Perrine as a 14-year-old kid helping get sandwiches and coffee in order to sit in on edit and studio sessions and learn what happens behind the scenes.

Over the last 30 years, Chris has become a widely respected producer in the corporate communications world and has managed projects for such clients as Continental, Speedway, Sherwin-Williams, Moen, Werner Ladder, Philips Healthcare, NASA, Kubota, and GE. He has also developed award winning television commercials and education programs.

In 2006, Chris and partners started Lost Tribe Media, an all-encompassing operation specializing in marketing, training, and educational programs. In addition to video production, LTM provided a range of other media-based services include website design and development, streaming media, animation, publication design, and social media content as well as audio-visual services for live and virtual events. Chris' role as Lost Tribe Media President not only spanned business development, it also included client services and creative collaboration.

Bringing the knowledge and experience of the Lost Tribe Media brand into Amp Strategy is the next big step in his career spent telling client stories.

Chris and his wife Lori live in Akron with their multi-species family where he attempts to make more room for his Star Wars and comic book collection. Chris has been involved with historical reenacting over the last few decades. Most notably as a founder and past president of one of the largest World War II living history non-profit organizations in the United States.
